Former Plantashun Boiz band members, 2Face Idibia and Blackface has reunited over the weekend to partake in the service of songs for the late Ifeyinwa twin sister of their former bandmate Faze.

Kemi Filani recalls that Faze’s sister died days before their birthday.

Taking to his social media page, Faze shared several photos in which his former bandmates, 2face and Black face were spotted together. He also expressed gratitude and appreciation to all who had reached out to him at his time of grief a

“From the depths of my heart, I want to say a huge thank you to all who called, sent messages and showed up to honour my twin Ify at the service of songs. Please let’s all live in love remember to keep in touch. Life is too short. God’s blessings,” he wrote.

Amongst celebrities who graced the event were, Sound Sultan, 2face Idibia, and Black face.

Shoprite workers shut down 25 outlets in Nigeria, begin industrial action

All 25 outlets of food retailer Shoprite in Nigeria have been shut down by workers, who are currently embarking on an industrial action over the sale of the company to Tayo Amusan’s Jara, FIJ reports.

The contract papers signed by staff show that many of them were to work with Shoprite South Africa until between 2035 and 2040. But with the current management set to exit in June, the staff demanded to be paid off rather than run the risk of sack after they’re transferred to a new Nigerian company — a demand Shoprite has been uninterested in.

In August 2020, Shoprite announced the commencement of a formal process to discontinue its operations in Nigeria “following approaches from various potential investors, and in line with our re-evaluation of the group’s operating model in Nigeria”.

Kemi Filani recalls that the actor recently disclosed that he usually reminds his daughter, Aliyah that he is not her father.

According to the 40-year-old, he is not Aliyah’s father instead, he is her guardian.

Nathaniel Bassey, Woli Arole, others celebrate Pastor, EA Adeboye on his 79th birthday

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye today celebrates his 79th birthday.

On this special day, many of Adeboye’s congregation and well wishers in Nigeria and diaspora have taken to social media to celebrate with him.
