A member of the #OccupyLekkiTollGate protesters, Kunle Ajayi, has cried out that suspected members of #DefendLagos are allegedly threatening his life.
Ajayi made this known while speaking to some news correspondent that he has received many threat messages.
According to the #OccupyLekkiToolGate campaigner, he was issued a death warrant if he attends the protest at the plaza today.
The activist who shared some of the threats messages to newsmen says he’s not backing out.
“After attending a live debate, I started receiving a series of threatening messages on social media and my phone. My life is being threatened. One threatened to kill me. He said I am a fool, and my life is in his hand.
“I am only interested in ensuring justice. My concern is good governance, but they want me dead,” he added.
Some faction of the Nigerian youths has insisted on staging a new protest at the Lekki Toll Gate following the plans to reopen the plaza.
The protesters have begun trending the protest on Twitter with #RevolutionNow and #OccupyLagos.
With daunting courage, defying the government warning to desist from any fresh protest at the plaza, members of the #OccupyLekkiTollGate have begun assembling at the plaza this morning as they call on each other to come out and protest to demand justice for their comrades who was allegedly killed on the 20th of October, 2020.
