Why so lean?- Nigerians express deep concern over Wizkid’s new look

Nigerians on social media have expressed deep concern over the new looks of international music star, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid’.

In a recent video shared on social media, the singer is pictured rocking a tee-shirt alongside his folks in what looks like a hangout.

However, the ‘Ojuelega‘ singer’s lean nature caught the attention of some fans who expressed worry over the singer’s health due to his lean body questioning his physical wellness.

Nigerian universities announce resumption dates

The University of Ilorin has approved January 11 for the resumption of academic activities in the university, while the management of the University of Benin has announced that the institution would resume on January 30.

The Senate of Bayero University Kano, on the other hand has approved the cancellation of 2019-2020 sessions for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This was part of the decision adopted at the senate in a meeting presided by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Sagir Abbas, on Monday. The University Registrar, Fatima Mohammed, in a statement said the new academic session would now begin on January 18, 2021, while the second semester would commence on May 3, 2021.

COVID-19 is real — Paul of Psquare says as he tests positive

Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye of the defunct Psquare, popularly known as Rudeboy, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The singer made this known via his Instagram page this morning where he disclosed he has been battling with the disease for the past 10days.

He wrote;

''ATTENTION!!! F*ck it !!! Covid is REAL !!! I know as typical Nigerian or African is very hard to believe.

"Some will say “experience is the best teacher oh well , the experience and the teacher has visited me and they’ve been dealing with me for more than 10days now sh*t is not funny.

MFM Olukoya speaks on authenticity of COVID-19

General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Daniel Olukoya has called on Nigerians to take the coronavirus pandemic seriously and not go about believing the disease does not exist.

Speaking on Monday while inaugurating the remodeled foyer of the University of Lagos senate building sponsored by him, Olukoya said as a microbiologist and a preacher he could confirm the virus is real.
