The police operatives Ogun Command on Monday has nabbed two siblings and one other for attempting to kidnap their former employer.
The spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, revealed the suspects, Oyeleke Blessing, David Oyeleke and Kabiru Oniyitan, were arrested following a report made at the Onipanu divisional police headquarters.
According to PPRO , they were arrested following a complaint filed by their boss, Makinde Oluwatoyin. The victim took a phone call from an anonymous caller threatening to kidnap his son from school and wipe out his family if he left to pay the sum of N2m to a specific bank account within three days.
According to Oyeyemi, the employer stated further that the caller reported his children’s school and his house, which hinted that he had been under their monitoring for some time. The police swung into motion and were able to trace Blessing’s hideout which led to the arrest of two of the accomplices while one is currently at large.
