Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, is said to be keen to reunite with Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos, in England.
Ramos is free to enter talks with other clubs from next month, as he is yet to sign an extension on his current deal, which expires in June.
Los Blancos president, Florentino Perez, has hinted that Ramos could be persuaded to stay at the club, but the Spain international has been linked with a number of top European sides as he enters the final six months of his Bernabeu deal.
According to the Evening Standard, Mourinho – who worked with Ramos during his time in the Bernabeu dugout – is keeping a close eye on the situation as he plots a swoop for the experienced defender.
The report claims that Ramos is still undecided over his future, but if the Spaniard does become a free agent in the summer, Paris Saint-Germain are set to do battle with Spurs for the 34-year-old’s signature.
