Nollywood ace actress, Toyin Abraham was born on September 5, 1984 in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria into the family of Six.

According to Toyin, she was not born with a silver spoon so she had to hawk to support her family after she got back for school.

Toyin attended Oba Kenzo Nursery and Primary School, Benin. Later on, her father retired and the entire family moved to Ibadan where she spent most of her early life. 

In Ibadan, she started from Queen’s Staff School, then St. Annes School, Ibadan. Thereafter, she proceeded to Iree Polytechnic, Osun State for a National Diploma in Business Studies. She also attended Olabisi Onabanjo University and bagged a degree in Philosophy before returning to Iree Polytechnic for an HND in Marketing.

The mother of one began her acting career in 2003 when she starred in the movie Dugbe Dugbe nbo produced by Bukky Wright. Since then, she has continued to feature in best of Nollywood movies and has also ventured into movie production.
Generally, Toyin is known for her comic roles in films especially with her self-produced blockbuster movie Alakada Reloaded. She is also an entrepreneur who recently ventured into the sales of hair extensions and also has a history in sales of herbs.

Toyin Abraham is one of the biggest brands in the Nigerian movie industry and also one of Nigeria’s biggest social influencer. According to Keninfo.com.ng estimated her net worth at $500,000. She is one of the richest and most influential actresses in Nigeria.

Toyin began acting in 2003 but took it professional in 2004/2005. Her motivation came from her boss Bukky Wright, an ace Nigerian actress. Toyin Abraham first featured in Bukky’s movie, Dugbe Dugbe Nbo. Subsequently, she began to star in other films until she rose to stardom. As she grew in the movie industry, she started producing her own movies. The first movie she produced is Alajota and there are plans to produce Alajota Reloaded.

In 2013, Toyin got married to Adeniyi Johnson, a Nollywood actor. But, the marriage lasted for two years. Then, in July 2019, she had a traditional engagement with Kolawole Ajeyemi, an actor too and together they welcomed their first child in August, 2019. She changed her name from Toyin Aimakhu to Toyin Abraham in 2016. According to her, the change was her family’s decision. Her hobbies include; singing, dancing, and cooking

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo's daughter, Priscialla Ajoke Ojo has joined the league of benz owners in Nigeria. 

The excited fashionista seems to have gotten herself an early christmas gift as she took to her social media handle to share photos of her newly acquired Benz 

According to Priscilla, this is her first big girl purchase she has ever made.

Daughter to popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ajoke Ojo has just acquired a brand new Benz ride for herself.

The brand influencer who is in her final year at Babcock university took to her account on Instagram to share photos of her new ride.

She got a black Benz ride and it all looks like her December is ready to be lit.

She shared the post on Instagram with the caption: “My first big girl purchase.”

LASU announces increment in school fees

Lagos State University has increased tuition of new students by 168 per cent.

New students of the university would pay N67,048.50 as against N25,000 previously paid.

The spokesperson for LASU, Adekoya Ademola, confirmed the increment of tuition for new students.

He, however, clarified that returning students are not affected by the increment.

A circular announcing the new tuition fee showed that the new students would pay N67,048.50 per session.

It was titled, “2020/2021 online admission screening exercises (100-level – both regular without comprehensive entrepreneurship training and regular with comprehensive entrepreneurship training – and direct entry candidates”.
