Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has insisted their recent upturn in form, will not alter his January transfer window plans.
The Gunners have now won two consecutive games, to ease concerns the club were headed towards a relegation battle.
Arteta will target a creative midfielder once the market reopens on Friday, with Real Madrid’s Isco among the names being considered.
But the Gunners boss, who refused to comment on the prospect off signing Isco, insists the team’s recent resurgence will not impact on his plans.
“The last few results will not change our approach to the window,” Arteta said.
On his side’s win over Brighton, the Gunners boss added: “This period has been so important. We had a tough week, it wasn’t so much about performances but about results yet you need results to start the confidence.”
