Arsenal defender, David Luiz, reportedly team-mate Dani Ceballos in a shocking training ground bust-up during the international break and staff had to step in to diffuse the fight.
Luiz and Spanish midfielder Ceballos were among the group of Arsenal players who were not away on international duty and therefore continued training under Mikel Arteta.
The Athletic reports Luiz was irritated by a challenge from Ceballos and retaliated by hitting the Spaniard in the face, drawing some blood.
It is claimed Luiz struck Ceballos on the nose, sending the Arsenal midfielder to the ground, before other players and staff were forced to intervene as Ceballos got up to confront Luiz.
The duo were promptly sent home and Arteta oversaw their reunion on Tuesday when they cleared the air in the dressing room and apologised to the squad.
Ceballos is spending his second season on loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid, while Luiz joined the Gunners in 2019 from London rivals Chelsea.
