Court fixes new date to rule on Mompha’s no case submission

The Federal High Court in Lagos has fixed December 9, 2020 to rule on the application of no case submission filed by Mr Ismail Mustapha popularly known as Mompha, who’s standing trial for alleged N32.9 billion fraud.

The EFCC charged Mompha with 14 counts of fraud, money laundering and running illegal a foreign exchange. 

He was arraigned alongside a firm, Ismalob Global Investment Ltd. He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of N100million, with one surety in the like sum.

The case which was earlier fixed for ruling on the no case submission filed by defence, could not proceed on Wednesday, November 18, as the court did not sit. 

Justice Mohammed Liman adjourned the judgment delivery to December 9, 2020.

Singer, Ikechukwu tells Psquare what to do to make Africans happy on their birthday

Famous Nigerian singer, Ikechukwu Onunaku,professionally known as Ikechukwu has revealed what the duo of Psquare need to do to make Africans happy.

Kemi Filani recalls that the twins have not been in each others good book for years and they decided to go their separate ways.

According to the 36 year old in his birthday message to the singers, the two of them need to settle their dispute and makeup.This he says will make Africans as a whole very happy.

In his words;

Funke Akindele ‘confesses’ to going under the knife, after Nigerian prophet sent her a strong message

Nollywood actress and film producer, Funke Akindele has jokingly confirmed she's gone under the knife after a Nigerian prophet sent her a strong message revealing she would not make it alive.

This came after a Nigerian prophet who identified as John Omoarukhe took to the microblogging platform to warn the comic actress not to undergo any sort of surgery.

The actress, however, replied saying, she had already undergone surgery.

‘This does not make sense’ – Omotola Jalade disgraced on social media after what she did to Psquare

Nigerians have attacked veteran Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade on Instagram for celebrating only one of the duo of Psquare on their birthday today.

The 42 year old had posted peters photo alone and wrote;

"Happy birthday to a great friend. @peterpsquare . Almost missed your day! Wishing you a day as happy as you. Can’t wait for your session @teffestofficial ."

This obviously did not go down with many on the photo sharing app and they decided to express themselves in her comment section.

According to these people, Omotola is adding more to the problem considering the fact that the twins are not on good terms.
