Controversial Nigerian actress, Etinosa Idemudia has urged all the women who are either married to or dating a government official in the country to use their influence to appeal to their lovers to end the brutality of SARS.
The Instagram celebrity wrote, “As a holier than thou nation I know we don’t like this particular topic but it maybe an underrated source of solution. While protesters are on the street doing what they know how to do best, we who have bottom power should use it too. We must not spare any avenue to bring a lasting solution to police brutality as it affects all of us.
Having said this, please if you know you are married/dating an elected or appointed leader or lawmaker please we know ourselves, please talk to your boo. Let’s all talk to our boo. Be like Esther in the Bible. Our solution maybe in the middle. Cheers.”
This is coming shortly after the daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, Zahra, and Vice President Osinbajo’s daughter, Kiki joined the ongoing #EndSARS protest against police brutality in the country.
Kiki Osinbajo shared a post on her Instagram page saying “Police brutality must end now” using the hashtags #endpolicebrutality and #endsars.
