Controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has taken to twitter to announce the cancellation of the #EndSars protest that was scheduled to hold today, 6th of October, 2020.
“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now. As a Marlian we will give them a week to see the changes and if there’s no changes we will start a mass protest. #togetherwecan,” he tweeted.
This comes moments after the Minister for Youth, Sunday Dare, urged the Singer, and others not to embark on protest any protest as regards #EndSars.
According to the minister, the issue is already being addressed by the highest level of the government.
