Barely 48 hours after he was accused of supporting the regulation of social media bill at the Lagos state house of assembly, video of Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot speaking against the progress on Nigerian youths, has surfaced on social media.
Kemi Filani recalls that the law maker denied the accusation that he is the one pushing for the bill to regulate and control speech on social media at the Lagos State house of assembly.
According to Desmond Elliot in the video that is already going viral, Nigerian youths have abused social media and the government needs to do something about it. He added that social media has more negative impact than positive impact because of how the youths drag and insult the government.
Sighting how hoodlums looted malls and destroyed the Oba palace in Lagos, the 46 year old urged the government to do something about such youths.
