Pandemonium in Osogbo as youth protest the death of 4 young men allegedly caused by SARS

Angry youths in Osogbo, Osun state has taken to the streets to protest after three suspected internet fraudsters were allegedly chased to their death by SARS officers on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.

According to online reports, the young men were riding in their car when the SARS officers attempted to stop them. They refused to stop and the SARS officers chased them. The driver of the car lost control and the car hit an electric pole. While one of the occupants in the car died on the spot, two others died later.

Angry youths in the area have allegedly dumped one of the corpses in front of Osun Government House, Oke Fia, and destroyed a motorcycle.

Protesters have also taken to the streets to protest against the death of the men, as they targeted police operatives around Oke Fia, Alekuwodo, and Ilobu road. Meanwhile, State police spokesperson is yet to comment on the tragic incident that happened.
