Fashion entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani has revealed that her son cried profusely on the news of the death of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick Boseman died on August 28 after battling with colon cancer for four years.
On hearing the news, Toyin Lawani was saddened and wondered how she would break it to her son who loves the actor and often wears his costume from the Black Panther movie.
“How do I tell my son his favorite character is gone. He loves black panther. So sad , 2020 took so many heroes. Rest on @chadwickboseman you will be missed”, she shared.
She added: “My son is so addicted to his character, he emulates it, his plates ,cups,room, costumes, everything is Black planter , even his stunts , he doesn’t Joké , What Black panther gave this world was A gift, A legend for life.
That character can never die”.
Sadly for Toyin Lawani, her son found out about the news of the actor’s death from a cousin of his.
“I actually didn’t tell him but he just came to ask me about it, his cousin told him. He’s been crying. You all don’t know how much my son loves @chadwickboseman like that’s his mentor, his stunts and gymnastics all evolves around him, he will always be our hero and I won’t stop my son from building his memories around him, Rest in peace icon ,he achieved a lot while alive, pls let’s all live and leave a memorable legacy behind. 2020 tuff”, she shared.
