Ka3na, Erica, Laycon, others top most searched housemates on Google

Big Brother Naija is arguably the most talked about and most watched reality TV show in the country with millions of fans every given year.

The show in itself has made stars out of contestants, popularly referred to as housemates, changed and still changing lives in one way or the other and bringing ordinary or not so popular people into the celebrity status.

On Thursday, according to a report by The Cable, Google in a statement revealed the most-searched housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show on its platform; Google search trends.

According to Google search trends, Laycon, Nengi and Erica have generated the most-searched interest online among housemates of the ongoing Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition.

Other housemates that generated most search interest include Ka3na, Dorathy and Kiddwaya.

Regionally, Erica has drawn the most interest from Borno province and Lagos, while Laycon is a firm favourite in Adamawa, Taraba, and several other provinces. Dorathy rules Kwara while Nengi generates the most searches in Bayelsa and Edo.

With several weeks still to go on the current season of the show, there’s bound to be plenty more drama, which will have a major impact on searches around the show. Be sure to keep an eye out for those developments.
