Legendary American singer, Beyonce Knowles-Carter has dropped the visuals for her “Brown skin girl’ hit song which features Wizkid and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter and Saint JHN.
Beyonce announced the release of the project, when she appeared on Good Morning America on Monday.
During the show, she said the video was inspired by her quest to further amplify blacks, particularly black women.
“It was so important to me in ‘Brown Skin Girl’ that we represented all different shades of brown,” she said.
“We wanted every character to be shot in a regal light — Jenn Nkiru came up with the black debutantes. It was important that we are all in this together and we’re all celebrating each other.
“My greatest inspiration comes from black people, specifically black women.”
The less than 7-minute video sees Beyonce crooning about the uniqueness of black identity, examining its various strengths.
