Tragedy averted as 16 persons are rescued alive from Okrika Rivers (photos)

Sixteen people narrowly evaded death following a boat accident that happened at Okrika Kalio Rivers.

The tragedy reportedly occurred on Wednesday, July 22, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers Capital.

According to the information gathered, all the sixteen people, both men and women aboard the boat are safe after their craft capsized on top of the ocean. The victims can be pictured suited and geared in their life jacket. See photos of rescued victims below;

The victims were reportedly rescued almost immediately and brought to shore by the selfless rescue squad which consists of the community young men of Kalio Ama.
