The acting MD of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Prof. Daniel Pondei has fainted during a probe at the House of Representatives.
Pondei who as being grilled for the misappropriation of N81 billion was immediately rushed out of the venue where a panel sat to deliberate on the activities of the NDCC.
Meanwhile, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Nigerian lawmaker, and current Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on NDDC, has backed out from the ongoing investigation of the commission.
The chairman stepped down on Monday as the panel was beginning the continuation of the public hearing on the activities of the commission.
