Missing NDDC N81 billion was pick-pocketted, go after looters in other regions – Asari Dokubo

Niger Delta activist, Asari Dokubo has said that the missing N81 billion of the Nigeria Delta Development Commission, NDDC, was only pick-pocketted.

Asari Dokubo said that the main looters who steal from the Niger Delta are from other regions and that no one should bother about the affairs of his region.

He added that for every accused person in the Niger Delta, there is one to be found in other regions.

“We are talking about N81 billion being pick-pocketed from Niger Delta while the bulk of our money, our resources is being carted away and we are not talking.

“They want me to run after pickpocketers and leave armed robbers that are coming into my house. When they talk about (Godswill) Akpabio, tell them about (Abubakar) Malami, when they talk about Joy (Nunieh), tell them about Sadiya (Umar Farouq), when they talk about any senator, tell them about (Ibrahim) Magu.”
