US-based Nigerian filmmakers, Faith Ojo reacted to the death of Uwaila Omozuwa who raped inside a church in Edo State.
In her post, Faith Ojo slammed men who have at a time taken advantage of a woman in their life.
According to her, “Should we be scared of being a woman?”.
“It is sad !! Women now have to live in fear, fear of being a woman, fear of being comfortable in a dress, fear of walking freely In our streets, fear of living with Men with no sexual control. Fear of men given guns and given control.
“Should we be scared of being a woman? Shame on you if you have ever taken advantage of a woman! Shame on you if you have ever gone overboard with the power given to you.
“It’s supposed to be a new month with a new start but how do we start knowing killers live freely? How do we start knowing we have the wrong people in power with no concern for lives and property. God help us #justiceforuwa”, she wrote.
Uwaila Omozuwa was bashed with an extinguisher on the head after she was raped while reading inside a church in Edo State.
