Jude Okoye and his brother Paul Okoye have spoken against the decision of the Federal Government to give the National Assembly N27 billion for the renovation of its complex.
The Federal Government made the decision after slashing budgets for other important sectors like Health and Education.
Joining tonnes of Nigerians who raised their voice against the allocation, Paul Okoye tweeted: ”27billy to renovate …… they know we can’t do anything,… it is called “see finish” …….. Naija government don see us finish aswear…. #fuckedup. Even with dis my tweet sef , some people go still come abuse. We all are #fuckedup”
His elder brother, Jude Okoye condemned the move: “N27billion wat for National Assembly? Is the building leaking waters or the seats poking them in the a**? Essentials like education, power, road and healthcare are ignored just so that some people with some useless brains will have a finner environment to take selfies for the gram”.
A fan dropped a comment: “Great minds… speaking up the truth… unlike my tuface insulting pastors and imams. Bad governance has been the bane of underdevelopment in Nigeria coupled with Fulani oligarchy leadership. Tribalism, nepotism and despotic govt under Buhari regime is a failed country”.
