BBNaija season five to begin on July 19

The BBNaija 2020 has been slated to begin on Juley 19, this is according to a post by DSTV on social media.

The organizers had announced audition for the show saying, “Participate in the BBN auditions by simply curating a 2-minute video motivating why you deserve to be in the #BBNaija House. Simple right? Entries open from 20th – 30th May 2020”.

The show will now premiere on July 19 with the auditions fully wrapped up.

This comes against the backdrop of the BBNaija Reunion show organized for the housemate in the last edition which held last year.

The highlight of the last edition saw a fight between the eventual winner Mercy Eke and her rival Tacha.

It is indeed a moment of celebration of Nigerian actress Regina Daniels and her husband, Ned Nwoko, following the birth of their first child together.

The movie star's brother recently took to his Instagram page to congratulate his sister and her husband.

2,683 active COVID-19 cases are yet to turn up for admission in care centres- Lagos

2,683 COVID-19 positive persons are yet to turn up at the various isolation center in the state, according to the Lagos State government.

The State Commissioner of Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, who disclosed this on Twitter said that their decision might be based on fear or ignorance.

He tweeted: "#COVID19Lagos Update as at 27th of June, 2020.4,891 COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Lagos State between June 2 and June 27, 2020 bringing total of confirmed cases in the State to 10,042.

Out of the confirmed cases, 1,533 patients have since been discharged 

5, 226 of the cases monitored in communities by #COVID19Lagos response team have either fully recovered or responded positively to treatments at home.
