How actress Ada Ameh forced House of Reps speaker to convene a meeting concerning power supply

Popular Nollywood actress, Adah Ameh made a four (4) minutes video days ago, where she cried bitterly lamenting about the epileptic power supply in Nigeria during this coronavirus lock down season.

In the video, she made a call to the federal government of Nigeria to improve on regular power supply as Nigerians obey the stay-at-home order. This has prompted the speaker of the house of representatives to address the power issues in the country.

The speaker Femi Gbajabiamila disclosed this on social media platform twitter.

He said “after Madam Ameh’s viral video, I held a meeting with the Minister of Power, NERC and other stakeholders today on the need to ensure stable electricity at least during the lockdown period.”

“At the end of the discussion, Gas companies who are being owed money agreed to release gas to the GENCOs while other outstanding issues are resolved immediately after we conquer Covid-19. Will remain vigilant.”

Presidency attacks Soyinka over comment on coronavirus

The Presidency has replied Nobel Laureate Woke Soyinka for criticizing the President on the way he has been handling the outbreak of coronavirus in Nigeria.

Woke Soyinka had claimed that the president overstepped his boundaries by declaring lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun to curb the spread of the virus.

A statement issued by Presidential Adviser Garba Shehu sees the Presidency advising Soyinka to stick to fiction writing and leave the issue of coronavirus for science.

Coronavirus forces man to apologize to his wife after their daughter did this

A Nigerian man has taken to Facebook to apologize to his wife over what he experience while at home due to coronavirus lockdown.
