Chief Victor Ikwuemesi, the chairman of Sosoliso Airlines, has died in the UK a few days after testing positive for coronavirus.
Family sources who confirmed the news stated that Ikwuemesi was checked into an unnamed hospital in London after he fell sick.
Results of the test carried out on the owner of the defunct airline showed that he was infected with coronavirus.
He was immediately placed on oxygen at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the London hospital.
“But, when the oxygen was removed for him to eat he couldn’t breathe on his own.
“So they put him on a ventilator and he died shortly after,” the source disclosed as reported by The Nation,
