A white foreign offender was caught on tape fighting a policeman and Lastma officers in Lagos today.
According to eyewitness reports, the driver of the white man took the BRT lane, which is an offence in Lagos state as the BRT lane is not for private car owners.
When the officers reportedly stopped his car from taking the route, the man refused and insisted on going forward. This reportedly made them start fighting.

The bill setting up the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) was signed into law on 13 January 2002 by the then Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (1999 – 2007). The law empowered LAMATA with the responsibility of reforming the transport system in Lagos.
