Rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has mocked Muhammadu Sanusi II after he was dethroned as the Emir of Kano.
Sanusi was dethroned by the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje-led administration in Kano State over insubordination.
This was disclosed on Twitter by the Director-General, Media and Communications, Kano State Government, Salihu Yakasai.
“The Kano State Executive Council has unanimously approved the dethronement of the Emir of Kamo Mallam Muhammad Sanusi II at a special sitting held today by the council,” he tweeted.
Reacting to the news, Eedris Abdulkareem stated that what Sanusi is suffering is as a result of his campaign against former President, Goodluck Jonathan, who fired him as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He wrote: “Dear Sanusi Lamido, a corrupt man caught stuffing dollars into his babariga removed you from office!
It’s an unfortunate situation but this is the price you have to pay for championing the Jonathan is Corrupt cause with no evidence but propaganda.
Today, you are witnessing the real corruption! Goodluck! May Ubeku”
