Shortly after the Presidency sent out a message asking Nigerians to disregard the news going round that President Muhammad Buhari is very ill and already flown abroad, Nigerians have reacted negatively.
“The concocted audio message about President @MBuhari’s whereabouts should be totally disregarded. It is Fake News in its entirety. The President tonight at the State House, at work,” the Presidency tweeted.
And Femi Adesina his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity added, “Why do some people imagine vain things and concoct lies and evil? Simple. Their minds are diseased, and incapable of clean and edifying thoughts. President Buhari is on top of ensuring that Nigerians are kept safe from Covid-19. The good work continues.”
Yet Nigerian are not satisfied with the above claims, through their reactions, they were calling on the President to address them on Live TV and not post perhaps an old photo to calm the tension in the country.
Nina Ivy of Big Brother Naija Reality Show fame wrote, “Old photo I guess he z trying so hard to make us believe he is still in the country… Smh.”
