All those who attended AMVCA should self-isolate – Lagos Commissioner of Health

Professor Akin Abayomi, the Commissioner for Health in Lagos State, has advised all those who attended the 7th AMVCA to self-isolate.

Kemifilani reported that one of those who attended the event had been suspected to have contracted the virus before he flew in from the UK.

He took to social media to give an update on his health by revealing that he had gone for testing and awaiting the result despite now feeling better.

Abayomi has now revealed that one of the new confirmed cases in Lagos attended the 7th AMVCA.

He tweeted: “#COVID19 Lagos Alert. I hereby notify you that all participants at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) held on14th March at @EkoHotels may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in Lagos and are most likely to have been exposed to #COVID19 Infection”.
