Floyd Mayweather has reacted to the loss Deontay Wilder suffered at the hands of Tyson Fury in Las Vegas.
Wilder and Fury clashed in a second bout after their first ended in a split draw in 2018.
The match started well for Fury who got a clear punch cutting through Wilder’s face. He maintained the same momentum and dominance in the third round where he knocked Wilder down.
Surviving the third round, Widler went into the fourth and fifth on shaky legs and got knocked down again in the fifth.
The seventh aw Fury continuing with his dominance before the towel was thrown in by Wilder’s camp to end the match and lose his WBC title.
Reacting to the match, Mayweather commended Wilder for the feat he’s achieved for himself.
He wrote: ” Win, Lose or Draw… Deontay @BronzeBomber is our brother that has accomplished many triumphs and as a community, we should all uplift and support him throughout it all. No matter what, you’re still a winner in my eyes, King!”.
