Tope Alabi’s husband reacts to her viral ‘soapy’ and ‘zanku’ dance video

Earlier this week, a video spotting Tope Alabi dancing ‘Zanku’ and ‘soapy’ at her Father’s burial went viral over the internet, with many fans questioning her spirituality.

Soji Alabi, the husband to popular gospel artiste, Tope Alabi has now reacted in defense of his wife.

The husband, who spoke to Celebrity Diary on the telephone, said “People should not just believe things without finding out the reasons. That video was definitely recorded at the wake keep service of my wife’s late father. As somebody who just lost her father, she was just trying to dance away the tears and she just expressed herself. Nobody saw her when she was crying, but now they are against her for dancing?

The wake keep was organized by some gospel artists and it was held in front of her late father’s house. Somebody must have recorded the video and sent it online for reasons best known to only God. My wife has done nothing wrong please” he pleaded.

  1. Glory be to God for her to witness her father bearer, but whatever man Don that can make others go away from God we should try to avoid it, we all know what the world doing meaning of born again is forsaking all others of worldness ,bot in dressing, dancing, word, remember what Bible says about us 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17 do not be yoke with unbelievers.let her correct her self for kingdom sake

  2. This is interesting, because I lost my father, as a pastor/evangelist and I needed to get away from the sad feeling, the ideal thing is to go publicly and be dancing Zanku? That was a very strong and strange defense, then if I wasn’t a well known vessel, I would then dance nude to cart away the sorrows of losing my father?

It is well, may the mercy of the Lord never leave us in Jesus mighty name.

I want you to know that lots of us are looking at you and also reading you as our Bible, you have overtime drawn many to the loving God through your God given gift and lifestyle. Please ma, you are different, remember you have taken up the work assigned to Lucifer in heaven, he is not resting in his nefarious effort to pull down everyone that God has used to replace him.
Please ma, show us more examples or exhibition of lifestyle that replicate those mighty and powerful messages you are preaching to us that has turned our lives around for good.
    God bless you ma.

  3. No matter how blatantly and convincingly tenable your defense sounds, such suspicious display is strange in relation to her kingdom identity assumed/claimed. “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.” 1Cor 10:23. The subject once sang ‘Nìgbàtí òpin ayé bádé, orísi-rísi la ó ma rí’ Do not discard this view instead, go back to God. Note; we only know very glaringly when the Holy Spirit enters Christian life but when he leaves, no one notice!

A prostitute once anointed Jesus feet, Jesus once ate with unbeliever, but whenever Jesus disappointed the expectations of people, he does so to bring our an edifying message. So what has that display evangelized? May God help us home. Shalom.

  4. WHY NOT WATCH YOUR OWN LIFE
Looking at others mistake and judging others, if we think well, we are only walking toward our own fall and disobeying the word of the lord in Roman’s 14 vs 13 instead of sharing the mistake of another why not pray for their revival

(James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.)

Romans 14:13 (KJV) Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
