How Nigerian man got pushed to his own grave

A Nigerian man identified as Peter Elebo has been pushed into his own grave following a fraceas which ensued between himself and a neighbour

It was gathered that the deceased and 35 year old car wash operator, Sheriff Balogun (Pictured above)

Man arrested after pushing his neighbor to his death during an argument in Lagos had an argument on Saturday January 11, 2020

The case has since been escalated with the suspect being arrested by men of the Lagos state police command

Police reveal that both Balogun and Elebo lived in the same compound on Number 32 Ola street in the Itire area of Lagos state and got into an argument about what time to close their compound gate.

In the heat of the moment, Balogun allegedly pushed down Elebo who started vomitting and died on the spot. He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. .

The daughter of the deceased, Faith Elebo, reported the case to the Itire police station.  Homicide detectives led by the Divisional Police Officer Itire, SP Barkfur Kromkyes visited the scene and evacuated the corpse of the deceased to the mortuary for autopsy.

Balogun was arrested and transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for discreet investigation and prosecution.
