A Ghanaian based cleric has got more than he bargained for moments after he acquired a luxury Range Rover jeep as his church members would have none of it
The Founder of Zoe Outreach Embassy, Pastor Kelvin Kwesi Kobiri has come under attack of his congregation who have taken to demand their tithes and offerings back from the “man of God”, who had pampered himself with a new Range Rover
It was learnt that Kobiri had infact issued 3 dud cheques to some persons including church members who invested an undisclosed whopping sum of money in his two companies, a matter that’s still pending in the Tarkwa Circuit Court located at Tarkwa, Western Region
Drama ensued on Monday, December 16, 2019 when he went to respond to the suit filed against him over the cheques but was forced to leave when the court did not sit over the judge’s abscence
The alleged victims who would stop at nothing to receive their monies back resorted to attack Kobiri right in the court premises.
Other members of the church who had got wind of the situation reportedly stormed the court, violently demanding a refund of their tithes and offerings
As at the time of this report, the pastor is yet to react to the incident which occured on Monday, as the judge remains on a vacation
