Dede Mabiaku, former bandmate of Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, musician, composer, pioneer of the Afro beat music genre and human rights activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has now reacted to the ongoing Sowore Omoyele versus Federal Government saga
Making direct comparison to the activism of Fela and Sowore’s RevolutionNow campaign, Mabiaku revealed that the later should seek immediate medical help after attaining freedom from the custody of the State Security Service, self-styled as the Department of State Services, DSS
He revealed that Fela died slowly after being injected with a poisonous substance while in NDLEA custody.
Adding that the late legend confided in him and in his son Seun Kuti that he had been injected which kick started an illness and slowly, his health condition deteriorated till he died, Mabiaku noted that he fears for a repetition of the action which could lead to the death of the politician
