How Fela died after being injected with poisonous substance in NDLEA custody

Dede Mabiaku, former bandmate of Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, musician, composer, pioneer of the Afro beat music genre and human rights activist, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has now reacted to the ongoing Sowore Omoyele versus Federal Government saga

Making direct comparison to the activism of Fela and Sowore’s RevolutionNow campaign, Mabiaku revealed that the later should seek immediate medical help after attaining freedom from the custody of the State Security Service, self-styled as the Department of State Services, DSS

He revealed that Fela died slowly after being injected with a poisonous substance while in NDLEA custody.

Adding that the late legend confided in him and in his son Seun Kuti that he had been injected which kick started an illness and slowly, his health condition deteriorated till he died, Mabiaku noted that he fears for a repetition of the action which could lead to the death of the politician

Nigerian owned Church in the UK in trouble over ‘blood donation for fund’

U.K Government, through the Charity Commission, has opened an inquiry into the activities of a Nigerian-owned church, SPAC Nation.
According to The Mail On Sunday and HuffPost UK, the church is run by 39-year-old Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.
According to the Evening Standard, Adegboyega once shared a room with his cousin, Star Wars actor, John Boyega, after moving to London from Nigeria.
The church is being investigated over allegations that pastors were pressuring young people in the congregation to sell their own blood to raise funds, Mail on Sunday reported.
“The Charity Commission said it has opened an inquiry into SPAC Nation to probe financial and safeguarding concerns after claims emerged that pastors had encouraged worshippers to take out loans in order to pay for the church’s lavish spending,” Mail on Sunday claimed.
