Supermodel, Naomi Campbell has stated that she’s not ready to become a mother as she speaks on life at 49.
Speaking with WSJ, Naomi Campbell stated that she already sees herself as a mother because of the help rendered to the countless children that come her during her philanthropic work in Africa.
‘Naomi on having kids: ‘Not yet—I’ll see what the universe brings me.’
She also revealed what it feels like after dating several high profile men.
‘Being alone doesn’t mean you are lonely,’ she said. ‘I don’t have time to be bored, and I don’t have time to be lonely.’
About an actor she dated in the early 1990s, she added: ‘For me, privacy is important to know each other, and I always worry that my job will not allow that. But I have ways. I was taught that by Robert De Niro.’
She also touched on her struggle with substance and alcohol abuse. she said: ‘I’m a survivor,’ Naomi declared. ‘I don’t have a squeaky-clean life, and I don’t pretend to. I was the first to say that I was an addict, and I’m so grateful to God to be a recovering addict and a recovering alcoholic.’
