Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has commended the senate for the introduction of an Anti-Sexual Harassment bill.
The bill was introduced to the see attached by Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege.
In reaction, the former Vice President, in a tweet wrote: “I welcome the reintroduction of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Bill, a carryover from the 8th @NGRSenate.
“I hope that it will be one among several interventions in addressing the #SexForGrades scourge and in ensuring that our campuses are rid of predators.-AA”
The introduction of the bill is coming on the hills of a BBC sex for grades documentary which exposed some lecturers in the University of Lagos, UNILAG.
