Celebrating 45 years is worthless without husband and kids – Man tells actress Nse Ikpe-Etim

A man has stated that celebrating 45 years is not something actress Nse Ikpe-Etim should be doing if she lacks certain things in her life.

The actress clocked 45-years old a few days ago and declared her new age with lovely photos on social media.

However, her post was found to be awkward by a man who feels she ought to have achieved certain things at her age.

According to him, she shouldn’t be celebrating her new age if she doesn’t have kids and a husband.

Nse revealed this during her recent event tagged “Conversation With Nse” in Lagos. She said she was diagnosed with Adenomyosis, about three years ago.

Adenomyosis is a genealogical medical condition whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus.

In Nigeria, over 100 thousand cases of Adenomyosis are recorded per year.

Nse Ikpe-Etim said:

“I was told I couldn’t have kids. And so, I had to remove my womb to make me have a life again and to stop going through what I was going through.

And I’m literarily telling women and men, it really doesn’t matter if you can’t bear children. What really matters is what you would do for the world, for the universe.

When I was first told by the doctor that I would have to remove my womb to live a normal life, tears dropped and then my husband squeezed my hand.

It was reassuring that there was someone there and it was telling me that this is reality, my reality. The ordeal made me fall into depression.

I didn’t think there was any point anymore because my society taught me that I have to be a mother to be appreciated and every time I went online, I would have one troll or two say ‘you never born? But I’m thankful that that didn’t break me.”

  1. Not to worry, ma’am. My pastor’s wife womb was removed a couple years ago, and the medics ruled out the chances of her ever having children of her own. Something happened that changed the verdict. I am the choir leader in the church where my pastor is a proud father of three children from the womb of the same woman who medical science handed down a hopeless verdict. How was it possible when her womb had been removed through an operation to save her life? God did it. Problem is we have become so cynical about life especially when we face seemingly no impossible situations that we forget that there is a God who can do the impossible. My pastor is an academic doctor in the faculty of Agriculture in the University of Uyo. This post can be confirmed. Don’t lose hope. Get to personally know this God.

  2. Please always listening to miss Muniba Mazari, her words going to motivate u, pls my sis don’t allow any idiot to make unhappy.. Be happy always… I heart u love..

  3. CHILDLESSNESS IS NOT A CRIME.
some people are very heartless and illogical. Only knows the depression this woman pass behind closed doors even when she try to live happy but some people cannot help but make her feel worthless for not having kids. For goodness sake she didn’t choose to be in this condition and I think some people should just keep quiet if they don’t have anything good to say. If God had given us the chance to choose our fate, nobody will have any reason to complain. it is delusional to think her womb was damaged because of series of abortions.Go and ask, even prostitutes in the brothels have babies when they choose to.More than 50 percent of Nigeria woman have done abortions before or after marriage yet they have as many children as they want.
Please we should be considerate when wemm dealing with issues like this.after all, some people are married with kids but are still regretting.TO BE CHILDLESS IS NOT A CRIME
