Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare, have been ordered by a Federal High Court in Abuja to be remanded.
The order was given by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu who fixed the hearing for their bail application for Friday.
Sowore and Bakare were arraigned by the Federal Government at the court today. Both men were brought to court by operatives of the Department for State Security, DSS.
On his way out, Sowore was prevented by the DSS from speaking to press.
He was literally dragged out by the operatives as he chanted revolution songs.
