Report has it that Tottenham midfielder, Christian Eriksen, rejected a move to Manchester United because he didn’t want to become the next Juan Mata.
Manchester United looked good to sign the Denmark international until Wednesday when they pulled out.
It is stated that Eriksen doesn’t want to find himself in a situation like that of Mata who hasn’t been his best since securing a move from Chelsea to United.
Despite being managed by David Moyes, Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Spanish international still hasn’t been able to state his presence in midfield.
This might have informed the decision made by Eriksen, though it is also reported that he would prefer a move to Spain.
