Nigerians are currently on twitter discussing the qualities of leadership that can be learnt from Prophet Moses as written in the Bible.
This was started by Dr. Joe Abah who tweeted:
“I am researching the Biblical Moses. What can we learn about Moses as a leader?”.
A follower who responded wrote:
“Moses life in 3 parts:
The first 40 years of his life, when he thought he was somebody.
The next 40 years of his life, when he realised he was nobody.
The last 40 years of his life, when God made him to become somebody.
On record he’s still the only man that saw the face of God”.
Another wrote:
- Take a stand.
- Persistence.
- Patience and Humility.
- Look out for the right people, when you find them, get them on board.
- Seek and accept advice from those ahead of you.
Another response:
“He always sought the Glory of God. It was a hunger for him to see and experience more of who God is. The better the relationship with God, the more Divine Wisdom for leadership is attained. There is wisdom and there is Wisdom!”
Another response:
“He wasn’t self seeking… Even when God wanted to destroy the Israelites so as to begin a new nation with him(Moses), he pleaded on their behalf”.
