Ghanaian gospel musician, Joyce Blessing has opened up on the backbiting that takes place in the gospel music industry.
According to her, not all gospel musicians are peaceful as portrayed by their music and perceived by the society.
In a new interview, Joyce Blessing revealed that the backbiting in the gospel music industry is so severe that it can only take the intervention of God for it to stop.
When you are new, no one talks about you. But once you become famous and start getting the gigs, that is when it all starts. More than three Gospel musicians have said bad things about me to event organisers because I had the chance to perform at those events and not them,”she told Graphic Showbiz
She added that the trend has prevented her from having g Michael friends on the industry because she has to avoid falling victim.
“I don’t want to discuss something with a friend and the next day, hear it somewhere else. My husband is my everything and that has helped me to stay out of trouble. I discuss whatever worries me and he gives me the right answers” she added.
