A young mother, simply identified as Louise Porton has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
The 23-year-old mother killed her two daughters, aged 1 and 3, because they got in the way of her sex life.
The British sex worker mum has been sentenced to life in prison after being found guilty of killing her daughters.
Louise Porton will spend a minimum of 32 years in prison for the murder of 17-months-old Scarlett Vaughan and 3-year-old Lexi Draper, following her conviction after a five-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
The convicted sex worker was spotted casually leading Lexi into their home in a CCTV footage obtained hours before she killed her on January 15, 2018. She reportedly searched for “can you actually die if you have a blocked nose and cover your mouth with tape” on the internet before contacting emergency services.
The judge told the court that Louise Porton, of Skiddaw, Rugby, had “no medical history or mental disorder that goes any way to explaining what happened in this case”.
During her trial, jurors heard Porton did not seem distressed by the deaths. Passing sentence at Birmingham Crown Court, Mrs Justice Yip described the murders as “evil” and “calculated”.
