Leah Sharibu: Boko Haram faction that claims she’s dead is not the faction that abducted her – journalists

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has revealed that Boko Haram abductee, Leah Sharibu, may not be dead if the information he got from some journalists is anything to go by.

Yesterday, a viral video showed an aide worker abducted by Boko Haram stating that Leah Sharibu has been killed by the terrorists.

The information which is yet to be confirmed sent many Nigerians into shock as they lambasted the Federal Government for not doing much to secure her release.

However, Reno Omokri who claims to have spoken to journalists who have link to the sect, revealed that the news of Leah Sharibu’s alleged death emanated from a Book Haram faction not responsible for her abduction and are not the ones holding her.

He tweeted:

“I’ve been informed by 2 journalists with access to Boko Haram that the faction claiming Leah is dead is NOT the one that abducted and holds her. I‘m told Leah is ALIVE. I put aside my differences with Gen @MBuhari and VOW not to oppose him going forward if he‘ll #FreeLeahSharibu”
