UFC fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov has reacted to the death of boxer Maxim Dadashev who died following a boxing fight.
Maxin Dadashev died as a result of suffering a subdural haematoma after he battled Subriel Matias.
The fight which was a 140-pound world title eliminator took place at the MGM National Harbor in Washington on Friday, July 19, 2019.
The fight saw Dadashev take violent blows from his opponent which made his trainer call off the fight.
He later lost consciousness as he left the to which got him placed in induced coma. A surgery was done to help remove some swelling in his brain. Unfortunately, he passed on Tuesday at the local UM Prince George’s Hospital Center.
Paying his tribute tk Dadashev, a fellow Russian, Khabib Nurmagomedov expressed how much he hates the sport of beating each other.
“This incident proves to us yet again, that there are more important things than sport. Every time I see or hear such news I begin to hate this sport of beating each other.”
“Nothing is permanent, glory, money, titles, our entire lives, we will all exit this world, no one will stay forever. It is worth pondering. Strength to Maxim’s loved ones. Do good things and may God reward us for our deeds and actions in the next life, and forgive us our sins.”
