The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have recovered cars from 16 suspected internet fraudsters aka Yahoo boys.
The Yahoo boys were arrested in Delta State by the operatives of the Benin Zonal Office of EFCC.
A morning raid was carried out on their hideout in Ughoton and Udu communities, on June 22. This was following intelligence reports about the activities if the suspects aged between 20 and 30.
The exotic cars recovered from the suspected Yahoo boys include Lexus ES330, Lexus ES350 GLK 4 Matic and Lexus RX 330.
Other items recovered include ATM cards, laptop, Android phones and iPhones.
The arrest follows a directive given by the EFCC acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, with the aim to eradict cyber crimes and internet fraud from the country.
The suspects who are currently cooperating will soon be charged to court.
