Brazilian star player, Neymar Jr. has told his club Paris St Germain, PSG, that he wants to go back to Barcelona.
Neymar left Barcelona in the summer of 2017 after spending four years with the Spanish club. His move of £198million made him the world’s most expensive footballer.
However, his time at the Paris club appears to be drawing to an end as manager Thomas Tuchel is open to his departure due to problems he creates in the dressing room.
In a new interview with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Neymar said: ‘I do not want to play more in PSG. I want to go back to my house, where I should never have left.’
Al-Khelaifi revealed to the press:
‘I want players willing to give everything to defend the honour of the jersey and to join the club project,’ he said in an interview with France Football.
‘Those who do not want, or do not understand, we see each other and we talk to each other.
‘There are of course contracts to be respected, but the priority now is total membership of our project. Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project.’
