A twin explosion has rocked Tunisia after a suicide bomber blew himself up near fhe french embassy in Tunis.
According to eye witness report, the first attack which took place downtown Tunis was targeted at police car in Charles de Gaulle street.
Tunisia interior minister stated that two police officers and a civilian were injured in the course of the explosion.
The second explosion took place at the government anti-terrorist headquarters.
Traffic in Habib Bourguiba street have been suspended by security operatives currently tidying the scene
Tunis was last hit by suicide bombing in 2015 when the presidential guard who were in a bus were targeted. The attack which was claimed by ISIS left twelve people dead and sixteen injured.
