Manchester City forward, David Silva has confirmed that he will be leaving the club at the end of the new EPL season.
The Spaniard joined City in 2010 and will be ending his time at the club after the 2019/2020 season which will complete a 10 year stay.
He has won four Premier League titles, two FA Cups and four League Cups with City and has had 395 caps since moving from Valencia.
When asked if he would go beyond this season with the club, he replied:
“No, this is the last one. “10 years for me is enough. It’s the perfect time for me.
“Initially, City were talking about two years, but I decided to sign another one, so I finished at 10 years.
“It completes the cycle. It’s a nice round figure. I can never see myself playing against City for another team. So 10 years – that’s it.”
