Cook from Togo sentenced to life imprisonment for killing his boss in Lagos

A cook from Togo, Sunday Anani has been handed life imprisonment after killing his boss who happens to be the CEO of Credit Switch Ltd, Ope Bademosi.

Sunday was on Tuesday by a Lagos State high court in Igbosere sentenced to life imprisonment.

Sunday Anani had been employed by the deceased for just three days before he killed him. The incident happened on October 31, 2018, at the Ikoyi residence of the deceased.

Mobolanle Okikiolu-Ighile, the judge sentenced Mr Anani after he changed his initial not guilty plea to a guilty plea.

The Togolese cook entered into a plea bargain with the prosecution to escape being charged with an offence that carried the death sentence.
