JAMB speaks on reducing scores of 2019 UTME

The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board, JAMB, has stated that reports that the board is reducing scores of candidates who sat for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is fake.

This was made known to newsmen in Abuja by its Head of Media and Publicity, Dr Fabian Benjamin.

The reports stated that scores of candidates who sat for the exam and were found wanting by the board are being reduced by 100.

According to an investigation carried out by JAMB, the fake news was coordinated by a gang from a town called Igarra in Edo state with affiliates in Lagos and other states.

FG to introduce Solar-Powered Keke and Motorcycles in a few months (Details)

The Minister of Transportation, Mr Rotimi Amaechi, has announced Federal Governments plans to introduce solar-powered tricycles and motorcycles into the Nigerian transport system in coming months.  

He disclosed this at the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected executives of Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle & Motorcycle Owners, Repairs and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) in Abuja.  

The minister, who was represented by Dr Anthonia Ekpa, Director, Road Transport and Mass Transit Administration of the Ministry, said the initiative would solve the fuel challenges faced by motorcycles and tricycles riders.

Actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has stated that she doesn't get moved by negative comments because she's faced bullets before which is worse.
