Super Eagles player, Samuel Kalu has pleaded to the yet to be identified kidnappers who whisked his mum away.
Last week in Abia state, Samuel’s mum, Mrs. Kalu was picked up by unidentified gunmen along Okpulu Umuobo area of Aba.
The suspected kidnappers have established contact with the Bordeaux of France star and have reportedly demanded a ransom reported to be 50 million Naira before her release to the family.
Speaking from his base in France, the winger urged the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, and the relevant authorities to act fast and help him secure the release of his beloved mother.
“I have been in constant touch with them and I’m hoping they let her go soon as the situation is becoming worrisome to me.
“I’m currently in France but if by Tuesday (today) or Wednesday the situation does not change then I will have to return to Nigeria and try to find a solution myself,” a pained Kalu told aoifootball.com.
